So Far Away

It’s hard to "love" someone when they are so far away. It kills some people because that one person they "love" will make them happy no matter how they feel. It hurts even worse when you know that they have a girlfriend/ boyfriend where they live. "Love is when you shed a tear and still want him, it's when he ignores you and you still love him, it's when he loves another girl but you still smile and say I'm happy for you, when all you really do is cry." (Unknown) "The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love, love someone else." (Unknown) It is pretty hard to keep up with the pace if you aren't together. You could even stop "loving" that person. "I liked you. I got over you. I saw you. I talked to you. And now I like you again." (Unknown) Are these kinds of "love" relationships easy? They are like a rollercoaster that isn't ever going to stop. If you aren't together or are not even going to see each other a lot then why bother right? Maybe it's the fact that when we do "love" someone and it is our heart that is actually doing the "loving" our heart tends to take over. We can't stop it, when our heart takes over it could take forever to get over this one person. That's why we should just let him/her go, but it is hard. If you let them go you may only hope they will come back to you. That is why some people won't let anyone go, because they are so afraid they will never see them again they can’t stand to see them leave. "If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you it's yours forever. If it doesn't it was never met to be." Long distant relationships are hard, they aren't worth it. If you "love" them let them know. If they truly love you too they will come back for you. It may not be today or next month, but if they do love you they will be back to be with you. All you have to do is wait patiently until that day comes.

A Christmas Carol

Oh the joy of Christmas, everyone’s spirits are high. On December 3^rd I had the opportunity to go see A Christmas Carol. The Christmas Carol was a play/ movie I have never seen, only heard of. Which is crazy, the play invited the Christmas spirit to be with me. I’m grateful for being able to get the Christmas spirit in my home at that early. The play was heart-warming; it had a good moral to it. The play was short and sweet, and it made it so our family wasn’t out to late. It was a great play and it gave my family the Christmas spirit.

            Although I have never seen this movie/ play I did know that scrooge was the main character. I did not know anything other than that.  The play was great, I learned more about it. The play taught a lot of great things that most people should learn in the youngest ages. I like this play and think I may watch the movie. It brought the Christmas spirit to my family that night.

            Christmas spirit always comes once at this time of the year.  This year it came sooner than usual. Just by seeing this play, it has made my spirits grow faster. It is always great to remember the true meaning of Christmas. The moral of the story was very inspiring; it is something that every child should be taught at a young age.

            The moral is that true happiness comes from giving instead of being greedy. If you are fortunate enough to have a lot of things you should give to the less unfortunate. It is better to give than receive.  I know this moral should be taught to all the little ones around the world! I know that life is more appreciative to those who give and also those who receive. Giving is having happiness in your life. Life is a time to give service to all those around you, even when you don’t have a lot of time.

            Speaking of time the play was pretty short and sweet. Between the moral and the whole entire play I had fun. I was pretty tired throughout the play, so it felt pretty good to get out after the two acts. It was sweet, because of the hard work they put into the play. I am so glad my family was able to go to the show.

            The play was a great thing to see on December 3^rd of this year. There was a great moral to the play and I am glad that the character Scrooge figured out that it is always better to give than receive. I believe that it is better to learn it while you are still young. It is also good to learn keep the giving throughout your life so you don’t become greedy.  The Christmas season has came to me faster this year than it has any other year before this. I am grateful for being able to go see this amazing play which brought my spirits up.  

Comma Assignment.

                Since yesterday was pretty hectic and crazy with the winds and no power, we were able to be checked out of school. For the time that I stayed in school all we did was sit around and talk and even played games for a little bit. The district said yesterday, “If enough kids stayed in school we wouldn’t have to make up a day during the summer.” I’m sure we had enough people stay, but now the district canceled school for today. Now us school students have to make up a day, I’ve heard three different rumors on the days we may have to make up on. One of the times would be one of the days we have off for Christmas break, and then I have heard they might do it sometimes during spring break, and the last one I have heard, that was said by most my teachers is “ they might take away the first day of your summer.” Wow okay, I understand that we have to make up for this day, but take away important days that we don’t have school? Christmas break is a time where we should be spending it with our families. Spring break the weather is just too great to be in school! Summer wouldn’t be too bad for us to make it up on, but come on over Christmas break?

                Christmas break is a time we are supposed to be with our family. Christmas cheer is so great we could be out helping people in need while we are on our Christmas break.  I know some people that are going out of town to be with their family, so they would just miss that day anyways.  Some people might even think it is stupid for us to make us that day, so they may not even show up for the day we have to make up. So why make it up? I just know that Christmas break is too valuable for some people. Some people us that time to take their kids to shop for family and friends as it gets closer to Christmas. Christmas break is just not the right time to have to make up a day.  Spring break isn’t as bad as Christmas break, but who would want to come to make up a day in that kind of weather?

                Spring break is probably one of the best breaks, wait what am I kidding me? All breaks are the best, were not in school. The weather is just so nice at this time of the year; most people would want to be outside instead of stuck in school. I know some people use Spring break as their vacation week. They go somewhere to get away from school. Again most kids won’t come to make up this day because they want to be out of school having fun. Some families use Spring break as their “Spring Cleaning” day. They clean their house, their yard, and if they have a garage then they clean that. Spring break isn’t the time to make up a day either. There is always summer, which some people might come to make up that day.

                Summer is the time where not all people go on a vacation. Most kids just stay home and try to find things to do. This is probably the best time for us to make up for today, which we are out of school for no reason. The winds yesterday caused most school to have no power, the power companies said that it would probably take about forty-eight hours before they could get the power back on. Hey, look what’s on? The powers on I’m sure we could be at school doing work instead of sitting at home wondering what to do. If we were at school right now we wouldn’t have to make up a day, but I still say summer break is the best time for us to make up today. Even if not a lot of people show up we still made up for it. I know I will probably be coming to make up for it in the summer.

                Out of all three of these choices I believe that the first day of summer break is the best day for us to make up this day. Now we just have to wait for the district to pick a day for us to make it up. Christmas break is not the best time to make up a day because people want to be with their families and this time of the year is the cheeriest. Spring break is just too warm to have to come in and make up a day at school.  The first day of summer break would probably be the best, but we have to wait and see what the district says. Please if anyone reads this that is in contact with the district, could you recommend this date! I really don’t want to come in on those other breaks!!! Although I have a feeling I’m going to be coming on whatever day the district chooses.
