Galaxy Nails!!!

What supplies you will need: A dark color of nail polish like a black or really dark blue. Some bright nail polish colors. (Example: hot pink, a light green and blue) Sparkle nail polish, and a clear coat nail polish. You will need make up sponges, paper, and qutips.
What you do:
1. Paint your fingernails with the dark nail polish with about 2-3 coats.
2. Let that dry.
3. Take a makeup sponge and choose one of the bright colors that you chose, take the nail polish and dump a little onto the sponge and sponge it on an area of your nail. This will create the nebula of your galaxy.
4. Do that to all your fingernails.
5. Do step three and four with the other brigh colors you chose.
6. Once you have your nails the way you want them let it dry and pick out some sparkle nailpolish.
7. Lightly coat all your fingernails with the sparkle nailpolish. (Having different sized sparkles makes it look a lot cooler)
8. Once you have finished coat them with the sparkle nailpolish coat it with the clear nailpolish so it will stay longer.
9. Using the qutips put some nailpolish remover on it and go around your fingernail to take off any nailpolish that got onto your fingers.
The paper is so you can have the sponges sit on it while you are no using them.

Nails!!!!

Okay I have a cool way to do your nails, and this time I will post pictures!!! (: It is prettycool!
What you will need is any type of nail polish, and some art tape about 1/4 inch thick.
How to do it.
1.You pick out some colors. At least two.
2. Choose a color for the "base"
3. Paint your fingernails that color.
4. Let your fingernails dry.
5.Then you apply the tape in any design you want.
6. After you apply the tape take the second color of nail polish you choose and paint over the original color.
7.Painting over the tape and the "base" will create a second coat.
8. Let the second coat dry.
9. Once the second coat is dry you want to take off the tape slowly and try not to peel away the second layer.
10. After all the tape is off your fingers apply a coat of clear nail polish or if you want it to be more girly you can do it with sparkle nail polish that is clear.
And whallla you are done!!!

How to curl your hair with no heat!!!

Okay I can not take credit for coming up with this!! So I will tag the website where I found out how to do this at the end of this post.
To let you know I have tried this and yes it does work so I hope that after you look at my post you will try it too!
Okay how to do this!
Supplies you will need: A elastic headband (a hippie headband), a squart bottle filled with water (optional), some gel, and your hair. (:
1. You will want to either take a shower before doing this or get your hair wet.
2. Take the headband and put it on your head like the "hippies" would do.
3. Once you have situated the headband and how you want you hair, you are going to take a small section of hair from the front of your head and wrap it around the headband once.
4. After doing one section take that section you just did plus another section of hair and wrap it around. Continue to do this.
5. Once you get half way through your head stop and begin on the other side.
6. Go all the way around until you have a little on both sides. Then alternate doing one section per side while wrapping those pieces around the headband too.
7.Once all your hair is wrapped into the headband you leave it in over night or all day.
8.The next morning or later that night you take the top of your head band and gently work your hair out from the headband. Your hair should be curled. You can also style it to a desired style when you take it out, but I liked mine the way it came out!!!
That's all you have to do! How amazing is that? It doesn't take a lot of time, and others may wonder if you spent all morning trying to curl your hair to make it look that good.

Blame It On The Rain- He Is We

I absolutely love He Is We!!! I totally relate to this song too. I understand exactly how they feel. It’s like have you ever liked somebody and they were already dating somebody else well yeah that is what this song is about. “Does she look at you the way I do? Try to understand the words you say and the way you move. Does she get the same big rush when you go in for a hug and your cheeks brush? Tell me am I crazy or is this more than a crush?” You may think that is just a crush at first, but then you start to realize that you always want to be with this certain someone. I always feel this way. Yeah I guess I shouldn’t even care because I’m so young, but this song explains exactly how I feel. Especially for some people I have had crush on for a very long time!

I Am His Daughter- Nicole Sheahan

This song is totally spiritual, but I honestly don’t care! It helps me SO much! “There’s so much more to me. He helps me see that I have so much to offer. I am his daughter. He loves me the way I am, He’s my strength when I stand. He is my King, and my Father, I am his daughter.” This song helps me so much. It inspires me to be different than the rest of the world. The song states that I actually am His daughter. My beliefs and religion absolutely believe this too, it is just so inspirational and motivating to know that I believe that this is true. I know I am His daughter and this song testifies of it.

Skyscraper- Demi Lovato

“You can take everything I have. You can break everything I am. Like I’m of glass like I’m made of paper. Go on and try to tear me down. I will be rising from the ground like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper!”Another inspirational song right here, I can conquer anything as long as I put my mind to it and don’t others bother me! It is all about the way I act. Others can’t tear me down if I don’t let them. I make the decision to let them tear me down. I need to remember this song whenever I feel the need to just let others tear me down. I absolutely love the story to this song.

Collide- Howie Day

Even though this is kind of a love song it still has a line that has always stuck with me. “Even the best fall down sometimes” This is so true! Nobody is perfect. Lately I and one of my close friends have either been in the situation where people are judging us or others are judging everyone around them because of what they look like, what they say, or what they do. It is not okay and we are sick of it! You have some problems that others may not like about you, so why don’t you just keep your gossip to yourself or at least limit it to you and just another friend not the entire school. It is not cool, but this song helps me realize that we all have our own problems and we all fall down no matter how amazing we are it happens.

Dare You to Move- Switchfoot

“I dare you to move.  I dare you to move. I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor. I dare you to move. I dare you to move. Like today never happened. Today never happened, today never happened. Today never happened before.” No matter what happens pick yourself up and move on. Show everyone else that you are stronger than what they think you are. I know recently I have had to move on and show others that is okay to do things on your own. It was hard at the start, but when I finally picked myself up and moved on with the guy drama that was going on in my life I couldn’t just stop there. I eventually got rid of friend drama. I am doing better in school now that I have moved on and this song is such a great way to remind me that it all started with me. I was the one that made the difference.

Updates

Okay guys I am planning on doing some new things for my blog to make it more interesting! Number one I am going to put a list of a whole bunch of songs I listen to and why I like them, or songs that are memorable to experiences I have had in my life! So check my list every other day or something like that. I will add as many song and reasons each day. I am actually planning on putting on about six today. And number two if I find some cool things that may be fun to do or interesting I am going to post how to do them on here with the work cited! Im also going to try to make up some new ideas of my own to put up on here. I may even start to take quotes and put a quote on everyonce in awhile. But those are some updates that will be starting soon so invite friends to look at this website if you see anything cool and if you are a first timer on this blog feel free to comment or ask questions. I would love to actually feel like I have an audience to write too!!

Book Review

                Something can be perfect one second and then a disaster the next. This is what happened to Ethan the main character in When Hearts Meet by Anita Stansfield. This book is amazing and helps you realize things may be bad, but you control your attitude to how things happen. This book has a great message. It has helped me in many ways. I just love inspirational books that help me in a lot of ways.

                This book helped me so much!! Between it inspiring me to be better to have a good attitude, and showing that when something bad happens it helps you out in the end. Even though you may be going through something hard it can help you, but having a good attitude always helps. Ethan went through hard times, but when he finally decided to pick himself off the ground and continue with life some really amazing blessings came to him. By reading this book it helped me realize that when I go through a hard time all I have to do is pick myself up and get back to what I want to do with life. If I’m having a hard time all I have to do is tell myself to keep going and have a positive attitude and good things will come if I wait. This book was one of the reasons why I wanted to change how I was treating others. By following through with my goal I have struggled, but also gained some amazing memories and experiences I wouldn’t have been able to find if I did not go through my struggles. This book has helped me be grateful for things other people would just complain about having… So I am glad I read this book that has an amazing message.

                When Hearts Meet is a unique book because of the great message it shares and tells the story of how a man named Ethan faced his trials. Ethan faced his trials through service, his attitude, and just by not giving up on life when others could have seen him fall deep down into a ditch. Before Ethan met the Brandt family he had spent ten years drinking to forget the loss of his wife. After Ethan feels prompted to go back to his old house, which he lost because of his lack of payment, he starts to become more and more religious, he finds a new job, he works hard, and eventually starts his life over.  This is a great message that anyone should learn! You may have fallen down into a ditch, but you have the power to bring yourself out of that ditch and turn your life around! I absolutely love this message, and I would recommend this book to anyone who is having a hard time with life, or is religious! This is such a great book with such a great power.

                You have the power, and you can be the inspiration to someone else.  If you bring yourself out of the ditch you may inspire others to come out of that ditch too. So even though times get hard and you may want to just give up, don’t keep going and eventually things will work out. “Ethan chuckled and resisted the urge to pinch himself. This day was just turning out too good to be true. He enjoyed every minute of listening to Dr. Brandt read from the Book of Mormon…” (page 10) Ethan couldn’t believe everything that had happened just awhile after he decided to turn his life around. Reading Ethan’s story it helped me know that there is always going to be a better life. It gave me hope.

                This book is such an amazing book. It has a wonderful message that I plan to carry with me throughout the rest of my life. I would recommend this to anyone with religious beliefs or someone going through a hard. Someone that may feel as if they could never get themselves out of the mess they are in. You should know that there is always a way out even if it is hard you can get yourself out of the mess. Life may be hard, but we can get through this!!! I absolutely love this story and would love to recommend this to a lot of people!!!

The Drowsy Chaperone

This play was one of those interesting plays I’ve gone and saw when I and my family go to the Center Point Theater in Centerville. If anyone had the chaperone like the one in the play I think some people would be asking for it. If you are having a chaperone make sure they are a responsible adult before you have them come to chaperone. The play was funny, but sometimes crude or offensive. The choreographer made the dances fit in well. I just always love to go with my family to the plays every other month or so. The play was very interesting and I think you should know that a good chaperone is the best place to go.

                Okay first off anyone who would get a chaperone that is wasted on alcohol is out of their mind or just as drunk as they are. Every time I go to a play or a movie I tend to apply it to my life. Now I know that I should know the chaperone’s I have come to chaperone any activity I am planning to have. If a chaperone came and was not capable of being a chaperone I think that I would ask them to leave and either go with one less chaperone or try to find another one at last minute. Anyways that is how I applied it to my life, but I know that if this chaperone wasn’t “drowsy” then there would be no story or play behind any of this.

                 The Drowsy Chaperone was funny because of how the Chaperone was acting, but some of the stuff in the play was a little crude or offensive. At the start the narrator made a comment about how the word gay didn’t mean the same thing back in the days. He said something that went to the extent of him saying that he knew that there were some gay people out there. This wouldn’t have bugged me except for the fact that there was a gay couple in the audience. That could have hurt their feelings, and after I thought about it for awhile us as people didn’t have to make the word gay mean what it does now, but it is and it is not appropriate.  

                Another thing that wasn’t appropriate was just one scene with dancing and singing. It was fine until I noticed what that scene was about. Let’s just say that it wasn’t okay for kids to see or hear. I think just that scene was pg-13 and there were little kids in there so that offended me especially because I did not want to have to picture or think about what they were talking about. I especially don’t think that any little kids should have saw how they were dancing. That was the only bad scene though and I guess you see that kind of dancing on the television all the time now a day, but I don’t watch t.v.  Besides that part of the scene and that dancing the choreography was really good!

                The choreography was fun. It followed the scenes and story line very well. I actually thought the dancing and singing put on quite a good show and I am super excited for this Saturday, because I get to go see another play hopefully it will be just as good as the ones before this one.

                I hope that the choreography and the parts and everything just fall in place for the next show I see. I am pretty excited about it. I hope there won’t be any crude humor, dancing, or anything that would offend anyone because The Drowsy Chaperone was a really good play and so well put together, but it offended me in some parts…  The play had good choreography. It was interesting, and you should get a chaperone that is always sober and responsible.  This play was funny and I would like to see it with another cast and maybe some slight changes to the script. But besides that this play was great.
