Choir Term Project

Jessica Knighten: Danny boy

She had nice long vowel space. She could hit the high notes very well. She looked very confident with herself.  She tried to move around kind of more like she made small hand gestures. Her clothes were very nice. She had a nice appearance. She could even hit very high notes.

6 boy group: Come travel with me

The accompanist was very good! :) There were some really cute boys.:D Their harmonies were very well. Their balance was equal and well rounded. A lot of them looked quite confident. Their dynamics were very spread throughout the song.

  Brianna S: Into the night

                She looked very confident. She kind of struggle with some the high notes. She looked around a lot she didn’t have a lot of direct contact with the audience. She also played with her skirt which is not exactly good stage presence.

Magical men’s group: Kitty of collate

                This group had a really nice volume! There were some cute boys! They had nice facial expressions. I think that they were the best group of the night. They made me laugh, it was great! The song was kind of there but it was really funny. They were really fun to watch!

Patricia W: I will make you riches

She held on to her dress a lot. She had nice vowel spaces. Her projection was really good. Her breathing was very well placed out.

Sunset men choir 8 boys: Little Begamin

                They had a nice blend. They harmonized well. Some of the boys played with their pant legs. They smiled a lot. Their dynamics were amazing.

Samantha S: Adal vice

                She had a nice vibrato. She could have been louder. She kept her hands at her side and didn’t pay with her dress.

Fairfield Falcon 6 group :) Cindy

                They had great volume. They were very enthusiastic. They harmonized well. They blended well. Their claps were together and all at the same time.

Mckayla S: Homeward Bound

                She sounded a little nervous. At times it seemed that she felt a little confident.  Her voice was very pretty and she didn’t exactly have to hit the very high notes. The song was very pretty.

Syracuse Boys: I need thee every hour

                They had music with them. They could have been memorized! They harmonized very well. The needed to look up and there was one cute boy in the group.

Linzie Erickson: When I have sung my songs

                Projection was great! She had a very pretty voice! She had a great transition between her head voice and her regular voice. She kind of played with her dress though. But all together she was really really good!

Watching these performances was really fun tonight and one day I hope I will be able to gain enough courage to sing in front of people like most of these teenagers did tonight. I love music and I don’t think I could live without it. To be honest this genre is probably something not a lot of people would sing but it is a very fun thing to learn and to be able to sing these types of songs. For choir when we had our spring concert we had two of the most gorgeous/ fun songs anyone could ever want for this type of genre.

Work out

  I like to be with people and do things with others. I like to do things that will keep me in shape, but I absolutely hate running. If it is on my own and I am doing it in a game I like to play no problem, I will run. I have taken gym in all my years of junior high and elementary. Elementary gym was easy peasy lemon squeezy, no biggie wish I could go back to that. Junior high gym isn’t too bad you are able to do a lot more things that you wouldn’t be able to do in elementary. It also depends on what teacher you have, but it is a great experience to have.   I like to do aerobics. I recently got a gym membership and love to go with my family. This is another good experience that I am able to have. I especially like to go on Tuesdays when they do Zumba. Sometimes it is hard to keep going and I don’t want to go, but lately I have been pushing myself to work out at the gym or in my own home. When I am at home I either play intense games on the Kinect or verse my brother on one on one basketball. When I go to the gym I usually just go to do Zumba. Before the holiday my family was staying on track and going to the gym about three times a week, and the it just got crazy. We would go and I would run on the tread mill or work on lifting weights to reduce the flab in my arms. I am determined to make my body healthy and for me to love my body the way it is. I don’t want to be super skinny though. Sometimes it can be hard to accept my body the way it is, but I know that if I continue to work out and eat healthy than my body will be the way it should.

Stand out

Fashions come and go.

So “why try to be in the crowd?

When you born to stand?”

They may think it’s cool.

But in the end they will ask their selves why?

You will be the one that will rule the world.

You don’t need to run with the dogs when you’re a cat.

Stand out, be yourself.

Don’t try to keep up with new fashion.

You will get lost in it.

-Especially if you don’t have to.

You have your own unique fashion inside you.

Live to be free and do what you want.

Life will last longer that way.

You won’t have to worry about-

-Messing anything up.

-Because you know exactly what you like.

You won’t have to be like anyone else.

Enjoy life and live it to the fullest.

Get over it and learn to move on.

They won’t be the only fish in the sea.

Go out and explore

Who knows you might find somebody better
